The chipboard case is made of heavy duty pressed fiberboard covered in black vinyl, with a soft plush lining. It offers fairly good protection against knocks and light precipitation.

The Standard fits all Style I, Style II, Teardrop, Soprano, Force d'Ossché and Jean Ritchie models; the Bass fits the Bass, Baritone and Acoustic Jam model.

Softshell $155.00

We are proud to offer the Blue Heron softshell case, custom-fitted to Blue Lion dulcimers. It is constructed of heavy duty Cordura® nylon outer shell, with a thick closed cell foam lining (which will not absorb water), and is lined with ripstop nylon. The carrying handle is wrapped and padded, and each case comes with a shoulder strap. The accessory pocket on the outside is large enough to hold straps, tuners, picks, etc.

The Blue Lion hardshell case represents the ultimate in protection for your instrument. This case is made of 9 ply birch hardwood, covered with a heavy duty embossed vinyl, bound and piped on the ends for extra durability. The latches are heavy duty brass and come with locks to prevent accidental opening. The interior is lined with foam on all sides and is covered in a dense cotton plush. The custom-fitted pads are soft foam and offer maximum protection for the instrument.
